TIMBATON SHEET MUSIC

Timbaton: Timba meets Reggaeton. The closest “Pure” Timba style to Timbaton is Charanga Habanera’s (especially the newer material). Whilst a lot of the essence of Timba is retained, its has more of urban music focus. Arrangements are generally a bit less complex. Synthesizer sounds tend to be more prominent and electronic drum sounds are used along with the usual drums & percussion set up. The electronic kick is played Dembow style on the on beats (at least during certain sections) and vocal processing (Autotune) is often used during the Coros. Having said that, despite featuring a more commercial flavour, Timbaton still carries the rhythmic complexities of Timba — including the bloques, the intricate piano tumbaos, and the contrapuntal horn arrangements.
Our arrangements are made for musicians who value authenticity and want to play the music as it was actually recorded. Each tune includes a full set of instrumental parts based on the original recording. This typically includes sheet music for:
– Horn Section (Trumpets, Trombones, Saxophones)
– Piano & Bass (PDF charts + MIDI)
– Flute, Violins, Guitar or Keyboards (depending on subgenre and tune).
Each title includes separate scores for each instrument, MIDI file of the Full arrangement including Percussion parts and an MP3 backing track. All sub-products can be purchased individually or as part of a discounted full package. Piano and Bass charts come with Note-for-Note MIDI Transcriptions, ideal for both learners and seasoned musicians alike.
